It has been four years since my last post of the same title. According to my observations, the duration of a full market cycle in the cryptocurrency market is about four years. And it is exactly at this frequency that a window of the best investment opportunity arises. Note the sentence at the end of the post: “If you don't invest now, but wait for, say, a year and a half, you can wait for the beginning of a falling market and the bottom.” And then you can count a year and a half from the date of the post and see where the fund came from and how it has performed since then. And the question is: how could I have known then that what happened in 2019 was the bottom? And that what would happen a year and a half later, after 15 February 2020, would be the top of the market, after which the decline would begin. These things are clearly visible when you look back today, but how could you see them a few years ago? There are two possible answers: 1) I was just guessing; 2) it means that there really are methods of analysing the market that allow us to understand with a high degree of probability what phase of the market we are in now and what will happen in the coming years.
To be fair, I will make some clarifications: the market bottom of this market cycle was 15 December 2018 and the peak was 10 November 2021. This is slightly different from the dates in my post, but the differences are minor and have little to no impact. Overall, it turned out as I wrote.
The market situation now is similar to that on 15 February 2020, when the post was published. The market bottomed out on 21 November 2022. Then it started to rise. At first it was very weak, intermittent and not good for medium-term speculation. Then, from October 2023, the growth started to be good. To date, two waves of medium strength have formed. On 20 April 2024 the halving took place - the most important event in the world of cryptocurrencies. On 20 April 2024, the most important event in the world of cryptocurrencies will take place - the halving. Halving is what sets the rhythm for the cryptocurrency market and determines the duration of a full market cycle of about four years. And beyond that, my analysis is that the next year and a half is very likely to see significant growth. This is the time of greatest opportunity in the market.
